Tetronics shortlisted at National Recycling Awards

Tetronics International are proud to announce that they have been shortlisted for two awards at this years MRW National Recycling Awards 2017. The National Recycling Awards is the UK’s biggest celebration of recycling and waste management excellence. The awards recognise excellence across the industry and beyond in addressing recycling, reuse and waste reduction – and are judged by their peers.

The awards take place at the London Hilton on Park Lane on the 28th June. Tetronics have been nominated in the two below categories:

Private-Public Sector Partnership (with Innovate UK)

This category recognises partnership and innovative working that goes above and beyond standard contractual arrangements and good practice to manage waste and resources innovatively, sustainably and effectively. Fresh thinking, incorporation of the waste hierarchy, waste minimisation, designing out waste, closed-loop processes, reuse, high recycling rates etc. will be recognised.

Waste Electrical and Electronics Equipment (WEEE) Innovation

This category aims to recognise those in the electrical and electronic supply chain, including those handling WEEE, who have applied creative thinking and innovation to reducing the impact of electrical and electronic equipment when it becomes waste. This could include innovations in design, reuse, recycling etc.
