Tetronics spoke at the International Conference on Waste Management and Technology (ICWMT)

28 - 30 Oct 2015
Mr Les Liddiard

Tetronics spoke at the 10th International Conference on Waste Management and Technology (ICWMT) this October, in Mianyang, China.

The International Conference on Waste Management and Technology (ICWMT), initiated in 2005 by the Basel Convention Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific, is an important international platform for specialists and officials to discuss scientific problems, exchange experiences, and look for innovative solutions.

The theme of the 10th ICWMT was ‘Towards Environmental Quality Improvement’. Leading experts were invited to give keynote speeches on the pressing issues of solid waste; this in turn provided the opportunity for over 500 participants (from governments, research institutions, universities, and industries) to share and exchange ideas. Complimentary technical field trips to e-Waste and hazardous waste treatment plants also formed part of this year’s conference.

Tetronics’ Les Liddiard spoke on the ‘Treatment of EfW Air Pollution Control Residues using Tetronics’ DC Plasma Arc Technology’.
