Lord Howard of Lympne, CH,QC

Following a successful career at the Bar, Lord Howard moved on to a glittering career as a British politician serving as the Leader of the Conservative Party and Leader of the Opposition from November 2003 to December 2005. During his political career he held senior cabinet positions in the governments of Margaret Thatcher and John Major, including Secretary of State for Employment, Secretary of State for the Environment and Home Secretary. Lord Howard currently chairs Help the Hospices, the umbrella organisation of hospices in the U.K. and serves on a number of Corporate Boards.

Mr. Paris Moayedi

Paris has spent over 40 years in contracting with a number of major companies. He was Chairman and Chief Executive of Jarvis Plc during which time he built the company into the largest contractor in the UK before leaving in 2003. He has raised over £12 billion in project finance. Paris is Chairman of Tetronics International, as well as Chairman of Advanced Plasma Power, the world leader of waste to energy and advanced fuels technology, and Chairman of Platinum Recoveries Limited, the UK’s largest exclusive auto catalyst recycler.

Mr. Dipesh J. Shah, OBE, FRSA

Dipesh Chairs the Investment Committee of the EU Marguerite Fund and is a non-executive director on the Boards of Thames Water, The Crown Estate, Canaccord Genuity Group and Cavendish Fluor Partnership. He was Chief Executive of several businesses in BP Group plc and a member of the BP Group Leadership. He also served as Chief Executive of the UK Atomic Energy Authority, Chairman of Viridian Group plc, Chairman of HG Capital Renewable Power Partners Llp, and as a Non- Executive Director of Babcock International Group plc and Lloyd’s of London, the Insurance market. Furthermore, Dipesh was a member of the UK Government’s Renewable Energy Advisory Committee from 1994 to 2002 and Chairman of the European Photovoltaic Industry Association for six years. He is a graduate of the Universities of London and Warwick and of the Harvard Business School management programme. Mr. Shah was awarded an OBE in the 2007 New Year Honours List.

Mr. Bob Wigley

Bob is a former Senior Vice President of Merrill Lynch Inc and Chairman of Merrill Lynch EMEA. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Wigley worked with Morgan Grenfell. Bob is currently Chairman of hibu plc, Stonehaven Search LLP, Expansys plc, Llamabrook plc, NetOTC and a Non Executive Director of the Qatar Financial Centre Agency. Bob was educated at Exeter School and the University of Bath and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Prof Kerry Gardiner, PhD, BSc, Dip Occup Hyg, Cert Occup Hyg, FFOH, FIOSH (Hon)

Kerry is one of the World’s foremost experts in HSE and author of the most widely used text books in both Occupational Health and Occupational Hygiene. A former Director of the Institute of Occupational Health, and former President of the British Occupational Health Society, he became both their youngest President and his professional body’s youngest Fellow. Kerry was a member of the WHO OH Collaborating Centres and a UN/ILO “Invited Scientist”, and has been a special advisor to the top corporations within the Oil & Gas Industry for more than 20 years. Kerry is currently the British Council Professor of Occupational Health responsible for sub-Saharan Africa based at the University at the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

Graeme Rumbol

Chief Executive Officer

An experienced leader with a track record for profitable growth in both large & SME businesses delivering high value complex systems and solutions globally. Graeme has over 31 years’ experience in the Defence & Automotive Industries. He is a qualified Electronics Engineer and has held Senior Technical, Business Development, Programme Delivery and General Management positions with Major UK and US Defence Prime Contractors and Engineering Technical Consultancy companies. Graeme has successfully conducted business in most regions around the world delivering high value complex Systems & Services.

Dr David Deegan

Chief Technical Officer

As Chief Technical Officer for Tetronics, David oversees all technical aspects of client project delivery, operational permitting and ongoing support.  David is also responsible for technology research and development as well as patent portfolio management.  With a commercial and regulatory focus, particularly in the areas of resource recovery, David was sponsored by Tetronics to obtain his PhD in plasma waste processing in 2003. David is a Chartered Environmental Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.

Dr Tim Johnson

Technical Director

A technical director with a plasma and engineering focus particularly in the areas of waste reuse/recovery and clean heating. Tim obtained a PhD from the University of Birmingham in 1990 before spending eight years as a research fellow operating and coordinating the work of the university’s large plasma melting facility. Since joining Tetronics, he has focused on technology development and the delivery of commercial plants. Tim is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.

Gary Hills

Finance Director

A qualified financial professional having completed articles with Deloitte’s. After leaving practice, he has worked primarily in specialised manufacturing and/or contracting companies. Gary is a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants and the Institute of Directors

Gary Risk

Head of Operations

Gary is an experienced Operations Manager with a proven record for delivering Technically Complex high value projects gained over 25 years in the Commercial Automotive and Defence sector.  Gary has held senior Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management positions with both SME & Global Companies, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply.  Key areas of knowledge and experience Include: Managing multisite multi discipline Integrated Project Teams, for Manufacturing & Assembly, Supply Chain & Inventory Management, Quality, HSE & Facilities Management activities.

John Conway

Head of Project Management

John is an experienced Programme Manager having spent over 20 years in the Defence Industry working for a number of major UK Defence Prime Contractors and Engineering Management Consultancies. John has an Honours Degree in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering and has held various Technical Management, Sub Contractor Management and Senior Programme Management positions throughout his career.

David Holman

Purchasing Manager

A practised purchasing manager with a deep understanding in constructing commercial proposals, David is key in the evolution of a waste recovery plant project, encompassing purchasing of materials as well as coordination of export requirements and overseeing all requests for spares and service. David is a qualified auditor for both ISO9001 and ISO14001 quality systems, and holds both Foundation and Professional stages from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply

Les Liddiard

VP Asia, Tetronics International

A mechanical engineer by profession Les has over 20 years of experience with high temperature plasma applications, most significantly in the field of high temperature extractive metallurgy. His experience encompasses the design, development, application and commissioning of plasma systems worldwide. Specialisation in the Asia Pacific region, establishing Tetronics as the leading supplier of high temperature plasma technology in Japan and Korea, led to Les adopting the role of Vice President Tetronics Ventures Asia in 2007.
